Welcome to The Ophthalmic Center’s newly revised and interactive website. One of the ways our commitment to the community is represented is through this updated website. It has been very exciting for me to witness the growth of the practice since its inception in 1978. Despite advances in technology, our mission remains the same and that is to deliver compassionate and expert care for each and every patient who walks through our door. This mission began on Long Island in my small office in Stony Brook and remains steadfast today in our spacious East Setauket, New York office. We are proud to continue our expert comprehensive eye care services along with LASEK and LASIK Laser Vision Correction procedures and facial aesthetics, including Botox, Dysport, Restylane and Juvederm. The Ophthalmic Center now includes subspecialty care with our fellowship trained physicians in glaucoma, retina and corneal diseases. I remain committed to the community and take pride in our ability to provide services on a personal level. Please feel free to call, stop by and visit, comment or ask questions. This interactive blog will help provide useful information and dialogue which will be updated regularly. I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Vincent P. Basilice, M.D.
